The Music Vault is a Christian/Positive influence heavy music database. This system was designed and developed by solid and its content is managed by a team of people known as Vault Managers.
It has been online since 2002, though a large portion of its data was lost in 2006. In August of 2009 the Vault was added to The Untombed Network due to the closure of the Firestream forum. We work very hard to continually update and manage the vault so that it can stay up-to-date. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to use the form at the bottom of any page in the Vault. Thanks!
By LarsA81 (01/02/2005 9:29:16 am): AWESOME thrash metal very similar to Slayer. The riffs are fast and groovy and the atmosphere of the album is very dark and hell-ish. Lyrics also deal with the souls that have rejected Christ as Saviour and enters hell... quite a concept. The vocals are somewhere between a yell and a growl... you do the math on that on, okay ;-)
Lars.
By raven (01/18/2005 12:09:19 pm): It's been a while since I've heard this cd, but I remember being less than impressed by it. The fact that it was marketed as a deathmetal release probably didnt help my view of it at the time.
By tourniquet (01/30/2005 7:57:39 pm): My copies coming in the mail so I downloaded Mp3s. Great stuff here!
By tourniquet (02/04/2005 4:42:09 pm): BTW, I love the intro!!!
By stepcousin (02/07/2005 6:40:57 pm): i dont think its awesome by any means but not bad. it has its moments. the star wars intro is all too cool but the lyrical theme is too negative and deppressing and i dont think a non-christian could even tell that it is christian.musically, it'll satisfy your metal jones.
By bonecrusher (07/07/2005 3:39:15 pm): really poor production also not fond of the vocals but the music is dark and aggressive enough
By eternal sanctum (07/26/2005 11:44:31 am): One of the worst sounding thrash albums ever. The vocals are terrible.
By Necrotortured Moon Puppet (07/30/2005 11:36:18 am): This was not the band Aeturnus that I listen to. :( This is a band from the US, and I've heard a few songs off of the album. It sounds mediocre.
By Vazal (11/01/2005 3:46:42 pm): good riffs and stuff i think
but common the vocals?....
By tourniquet (11/16/2005 12:09:18 pm): Never mind about it being good, lol. I don't think this is very good. Also, the lyrics are disturbing.
By henochkor (01/22/2006 6:39:12 am): the vocals are quite irritating. Other then that it's OK. For thrash metal that is.
By ding (04/26/2006 10:52:45 am): I saw them in concert at the 94 michigan mosh festival and I have there album,I don't think they are very good. The album is not produced very well.
By sharkuttack (09/11/2007 3:58:28 pm): barberic thrash! i love it. very creative music that alot of the time reminds me of thrash band d.r.i.
vocally john gibson could have adjusted his mic a bit more, but besides that you just cant deny this album. and what a killer intro taken from star wars!!!
defenitly reccomended to fans of secular thrash band D.R.I
5/5
By coremetalgrindhead (08/03/2008 9:50:10 pm): Awful cover, horrible vocals, descent music, and an awesome intro track = a mediocre album. This band may have gotten somewhere if they had ditched the vocalist.
By oldschooldoom (10/20/2008 10:51:38 am): Wanna hear something funny? I was jonesing for some doom and found this by mistake. Yes, I was looking for Solitude Aeturnus. I know that they were previously called just Aeturnus but this is NOT doom. This is some intense thrash. But I was pleasantly rewarded as this has coherent Godly lyrics. Wow, can you think of a title more....DARK?!!? This is great stuff to share with your UNsaved thrash friend.
