Bride going rapcore on this cd. when i first heard this cd i didn't know if i should laugh or cry. all i know it was a mayor letdown.

By CaptainCaffiene (01/29/2005 1:46:09 pm):
it was alright.. I thought White House was cool

By Munky (03/28/2005 2:56:44 pm):
split feelings on this one........

By ultmetal (05/09/2005 3:06:50 pm):
Ugh! Bride doing Rapcore? C'mon! This CD is ridiculous!

By GloriousDregs (05/11/2005 2:56:44 pm):
This is just awful...and a little sad. Here's hoping they don't go nu-metal or metalcore.

By Vader (06/04/2005 4:05:24 pm):
Didn't care for this one much either.

By Vader (06/04/2005 4:20:39 pm):
Average.

By Darth DoUrden (09/14/2005 3:46:23 am):
Not a big fan of this outing. Some good songs, but the rapcore crap has got to die. Now.

By Batchad28 (11/14/2005 2:54:46 pm):
What can I say? BRIDE DUDE!!! THEY ROCK!!!!

By Holy Roller (11/18/2005 4:56:38 pm):
It's still Dale on vocals. The rap stuff isn't completely unbearable and at least it's heavy. That's all the good things I could possibly say about it.

By stepcousin (02/27/2006 9:22:54 am):
I dont hate this as much as everyone else does. i dont love it, but it has its moments. If this was a debut by a new band, i bet it wouldve been loved, at least for a short while but because it is Bride, we all expect more out of them and this was certainly a direction they really didnt need to go. still, it isnt as horrible as everyone says it is,but i guess they wouldnt be Bride if they didnt experiment with every possible style of music, unfortunately.

By brotherwes (03/27/2006 9:51:07 pm):
Boy Boy Boy.... Bride, still doin' what they do best, "Tryin' to stay afloat" in anyway possible. Thank God they (Dale & Troy) have the ability and talent to pull it moff everytime. And even if you don't think so, you at least know, that maybe the next album will be great. I really liked this album, if for no other reason than just seeing the talent they have to make such a drastic musical change and pulling it off. I'll buy every single Bride album that ever comes out. Straight out - "BRIDE IS GREAT"

By Simen (10/24/2006 9:57:02 am):
I agree with Holy Roller; The rap stuff isn't completely unbearable - especially since it's Bride.
This is one of my least favorites by Bride, though. It's a good CD, but it doesn't float on me as well
as many of the other albums Bride has done. Many good riffs. I listen to this CD every now and then.

By Zelote (10/30/2006 6:33:31 pm):
This cd sucks for me and not is Bride in any way

By konnan (02/13/2007 12:57:35 am):
Not bad, but can't even compare to when Bride does metal/hard rock. Check it out for those rare times when you want a change.

By kleaverman (06/30/2007 5:06:17 am):
It has grown on me a little. Not my favorite either but, It has a nice groove on it. The drums sound great and the bass is really good. Very raw and intense at times. I like the lyrics and the intensity of it all. But, rapcore? Not good for bride. A nice try. Stick to what you do best. METAL. This is still a great band.

By Simen (08/26/2007 9:08:55 am):
I'm startin' to really comming around this CD; "Beginning Of The End", "Bitter End" and "Soul Winner" (amazing riff!) rocks hard!

By thefundaMETAList (10/05/2007 6:48:15 am):
It's a good CD, but not like their old stuff. Still some of the tracks rock big time and it's worth a listen now and again. Yes there is rap and it is a bit too modern, but it's still good.

By Torch & Sword (03/14/2008 12:31:40 pm):
I am not saying I like this era of Bride, but I think people just need to consider that Dale and Troy felt the Lord leading them this direction musically for a time. They actually did reach a different crowd through this time. I have a step son (18 years old) that loves Drop cd. Just as an example.

By sacredwarrior (03/29/2008 11:43:01 pm):
This cd is very cool...

By Torch & Sword (10/17/2008 1:34:36 pm):
Only someone as talented as Bride could pull this off. Probably some of the best Christian rapcore that ever existed. I hate rapcore, but this is something I can tolerate because of Dale's voice. He pulls off the rap well.

By nikki seven (05/11/2010 4:32:48 am):
There are two, maybe three songs that are listenable, but overall this album is rubbish! This is Bride jumping on the banwagon and trying to a P.O.D. Seemed that they lost a lot of credibility, some of which they have neer regained. Very sad to see a once leader in Christian rock become a follower of trends!

By Kerusso2010 (07/03/2010 7:45:40 am):
Probably the second worst album that Bride has made. Everyone is entitled to some klunkers. However, there are a couple of really cool songs: Soul Winner and White House really stick out. The rest, eh, not Dale's finest moment. In 20+ years, some steps are going to be better than others. Because it is Bride, I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Therefore, I gave the album a 3.
