| About the Music Vault |
The Music Vault is a Christian/Positive influence heavy music database. This system was designed and developed by solid and its content is managed by a team of people known as Vault Managers.
It has been online since 2002, though a large portion of its data was lost in 2006. In August of 2009 the Vault was added to The BlabberJesus Network due to the closure of the Firestream forum. We work very hard to continually update and manage the vault so that it can stay up-to-date. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to use the form at the bottom of any page in the Vault. Thanks!

From back of cover insert:
"In 1987, Regency Records released an album called California Metal. This sampler proved to be an introduction to bands like Guardian, Barren Cross, and the fastest band of them all, Deliverance. Deliverance, led by vocalist / guitarist / songwriter Jimmy Brown, introduced the Christian metal scene to the sounds of "thrash" metal; hard music played at an extremely fast rated of speed
Deliverance's thrash metal stye quickly resulted in a self-titled debut album (1989) and a strong fan base. Deliverance's follow-up, Weapons of Our Warfare (1990) was a pillar in the Christian metal community. The video for the album's title track aired on MTV's popular Headbanger's Ball. Deliverance had arrived.
With an ear attuned to the musical trends of the day and blunt lyrics contained within 7 albums, Deliverance remains an influential part of Christian rock history. These two albums showcase the beginnings, and some thing the best, of a Christian metal world long gone but not forgotten."

By cheese63 (06/11/2007 11:53:45 am): Awesome 5 stars

By ultmetal (03/07/2009 11:05:03 am): Absolutely terrible reissue. Horribly cheap packaging. The insert is a single page. The sound quality is not improved over the originals and there are two tracks from the debut missing. Avoid this cheap piece of garbage and look for the originals or pick up the Retroactive Records reissues, which are worthwhile. 5 points for the music. 1 for the packaging. I'll give it a 2 overall.
