| About the Music Vault |
The Music Vault is a Christian/Positive influence heavy music database. This system was designed and developed by solid and its content is managed by a team of people known as Vault Managers.
It has been online since 2002, though a large portion of its data was lost in 2006. In August of 2009 the Vault was added to The BlabberJesus Network due to the closure of the Firestream forum. We work very hard to continually update and manage the vault so that it can stay up-to-date. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to use the form at the bottom of any page in the Vault. Thanks!

My Silent Wake was formed from the dying embers of Ashen Mortality in May 2005 by Ian Arkley (formerly of Seventh Angel, Paramecium and the aforementioned Ashen Mortality). Ian plays lead guitar and vocals; on guitar, mandolin and bass is Andi Lee (also of Ashen Mortality). Jasen Whyte (Bloodwork) plays drums and background vocals; Alan Southorn (whose band The Other Window also includes Ian) plays bass; and Kate Hamilton plays cello, keyboards, recorder, and background vocals.
The band's style has been described as gothic death doom, but some would argue there is far more to them than that. Their influences are wide ranging but predominantly include early Paradise lost, My Dying Bride, Trouble, Celtic Frost and of course Black Sabbath. |
