The Music Vault is a Christian/Positive influence heavy music database. This system was designed and developed by solid and its content is managed by a team of people known as Vault Managers.
It has been online since 2002, though a large portion of its data was lost in 2006. In August of 2009 the Vault was added to The BlabberJesus Network due to the closure of the Firestream forum. We work very hard to continually update and manage the vault so that it can stay up-to-date. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to use the form at the bottom of any page in the Vault. Thanks!
Welcome to the Firestream Music Vault, the largest database of Christian Rock and Metal Albums on the internet. There are thousands of bands and albums in this system complete with ratings and comments by members. Most albums have lyrics and tablature available as well. The Firestream Music Vault is organized and kept up by a group of Vault Managers on a daily basis. Create an account and browse around, there's a lot you can do here.
On 07/30/2010 7:46:00 pm by oldschooldoom I'm immediately impressed with the talent from these young men. Great songwriting & musicianship gives promise this new band will be heard from for many years. I will not pigeon hole them as being another AC/DC clone as they have succeeded in having their own signature sound and versatility. But I will mention that I hear classic influences such as: Zep, Lenny Kravitz, Aerosmith and yep...AC/DC too.
The best compliment I can offer is that time flies when this disc is in my player. Also, they have got to be the best band out of Lawton, Oklahoma ;)
Track 7 has a pretty cool bass solo.
Track 9 is a bluesy song with a G'n'R feel.
Check YouTube, some videos are already emerging both studio and live.
On 07/28/2010 6:16:24 am by LarsA81 So I finally got my old school metal hands on this classic, and oh what a joy!!! These guys were really the first to make some serious loud noise for the Jesus Rock, and they did it well!!Fast thrash metal with a great deal of tight grooves, Rogers voice is sort of ... different from most, but it works well and fits the music.
The short songs are basically fillers, and I could have live with just one of those. However, songs like Human Sacrifice and especially White Throne are absolutly classic!! Recommended for any christian metalhead and anyone into thrash metal!!!!
On 07/28/2010 5:55:40 am by LarsA81 I have GF's Destined for Ascension, and I have to say, it hasn't had many spins in my player, as it doesn't really impress at all!
Now, I've heard a bit of their newest release Fight to The Death, and this is a very different story! First of, there's one main vocalist and not the various and less powerfull vocals as on Destined... Second, they have included a few Scorged Flesh members, and that might be a reason to why the brutallity and catchyness have got a lot better!! Well excecuted thrash metal with a good deal of memorable parts and some more forgettable! Actually, I think I find this a little bit better than Scorged Flesh's recent album. However, it's still no classic, but Fight To The Death, Destruction Comes and the metal monster War Is Hell are REALLY good and I hope to see more of that in the future from these guys :-)
On 07/27/2010 2:04:07 pm by xQdoomQx "i wish they had stayed together, cuz if they got their act together and kept one style they could've been a great band."
is what i meant to say...
On 2010-07-29 11:23:55 by oldschooldoom Pioneers among early Christian rock and hard rock. D & K are credited as being the first Christian band to have a video played by MTV in the states. Check YouTube for their song 'Six Six Six'. MTV pulled the video shortly after it was initially aired due to "violent content". But then allowed an edited version to be played AFTER they realized that D & K were a Christian band and the video was a song about being against the anti-Christ. The revised video removes a scene that showed the anti-Christ being burned alive.
On 2010-07-28 06:43:07 by Metalhead14 Do not buy! absolutely terrible! disgusting song names and they sound terrible too! if i had to give them a 1-5 star rating its a -2! i repeat do not buy or even listen.
On 2010-07-26 14:13:44 by Torch & Sword Also in some ways these guys remind me of Recon sometimes as I listen to them. Mainly the vocals remind me of recon.
On 2010-07-26 07:06:21 by Torch & Sword I like these guys. If you like Sacred Warrior and early Deliverance (not the speed part) you will like these guys.
