Moral Support

Andy McCarroll was a songwriter who had released a few albums before he formed the christian New Wave, Punk, Powerpop group Moral Support. Their album Zionic Bonds released in the UK in 1980 was ground breaking by being one of the first real punk albums around. In 1981 the album was picked up by the Pilgrim label that re-released the album in the US as Andy McCarroll & Moral Support, since McCaroll was a known singer/songwriter in the US as well as Europe. The band split up in early 1983.
