120 Decibels formed in Kansas City in early 1993 by co-founders, singer Eddie Williams and guitarist Steve Chaisson. In late 1993 the line up was completed with the addition of two brothers, bassist Vince Cirillo and drummer James Cirillo. The band's number one goal was to reach the lost for Christ with hard rock music that contained evangelical lyrics. The band rehearsed tirelessly, and performed in the greater Kansas City area. 120 dBS saw people of all ages come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior at every show, ranging from coffee houses to outdoor shows in a secular setting. Lead singer Eddie Williams would pull no punches as he proclaimed the gospel in between songs and at the end of the show. Although 120 dBS were never signed to a major label, they delivered a major league message regardless who was around. 120 dBS is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation!
