Amazing album. It tells the story of the Exodus very well and powerfully.

This could be a metal version soundtrack for the animated movie 'Prince of Egypt'. I could easily envision a movie built around this album, better yet, the trilogy to come. But this band has hit a speed bump of sorts lately. They are on the hunt for a different label \midway through the recording of the second album.

The sound effects, Egyptian music, and Arabic language really adds. Thankfully most of the lyrics are sung and narrated in English.

I would absolutely love for more of the bible to be told through metal like this. Amaseffer covering the deliverance from Egypt reminds me of Trans Siberian Orchestra covering Christmas. Both do a majestic job musically.

Put some culture in your music library, check out Amaseffer.
