Sheesh by Sheesh

Sheesh is a three piece grunge band associated with Jesus People USA, the parent organization of Cornerstone Festival. Musically they fit with the Seattle sound defined by Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden, though one can tell that they were also influenced by Live and Better Than Ezra. Guitars are messy and chunky, vocals are passionate, and there is some creative experimentation with cello and violin. Drummer John David Herrin is the son of Rez Band drummer and Cornerstone Festival director John Herrin, Jr, as well as grandson of JPUSA founders Dawn Herrin and John Herrin, Sr. Trevor and Chris Witala also played in Left Out, and later joined Bryan Gray to form a new version of The Blamed. It was released on Grrr Records in 1997
